Advanced Research Engineer

Annabel is an Advanced Research Engineer at the National Composites Centre, with a background in bio-based polymer research (PhD) at the University of Birmingham. Positioned within the Sustainability team, her key research areas lie within composites recycling, bio-based materials for composites, and Life Cycle Assessment to promote the most sustainable composite options as possible across a broad range of projects and sectors. Another keen area of interest is the application of composites within the medical industry, and where sustainability principles may be applied for the benefit of people and planet.
