Gareth Pemberton

Global Director of Innovation

Gareth has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science by research in Sustainable Engineering from Warwick University gained in 2004 and 2019. He has spent his career in the Industrial Gas industry with over twenty years’ experience, and over half of his career in a major gas company in a wide variety of roles from Engineering, Quality, R&D enjoying a breadth of gas applications.

Gareth moved to GCE 7 years ago to lead product development in fields such as Oxygen concentrators, speciality gases, medical gases and cutting and welding equipment.  In 2019 GCE’s was purchased by ESAB, where Gareth was appointed as the Global Director of Innovation for Gas Equipment.
