NDT Technical Engineer

Ishmael Carbajal joined dolphitech in 2021. In his previous role as the Sr. NDT Inspector at Virgin Galactic, he was responsible for training as well as developing and implementing new inspection techniques and technologies. His in-depth knowledge of composite structures in space applications ranges from composite manufacturing to M&P and large-scale testing to in-service inspections. He was instrumental in developing the allowables for the current SS2/SS3 class of spacecraft.

In his role with dolphitech, he is the SME for composite applications and helps to provide new ideas to further advance the capabilities of the dolphitech. He also helps to provide on-site customer support and training, customer feasibility studies and procedure/technique development for customers.
