Director of Business Development

Matt Bradney is Director of Business Development at Prodrive Composites Ltd, having joined in 2007 taking the business from a virtual start up to the £12m Turnover full-service provider offering Design, Analysis and Full Manufacturing, Paint & Assembly to its OEM customers today.  Prior to joining Prodrive Matt held roles in the supply chain on raw materials, as well as in similar roles with component manufacturers working in Formula 1, WRC, and Touring Cars, as well as Aerospace and high-end applications. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the last 25 years across a number of process and materials all of which has helped Prodrive become the leading exponent of lightweight composites in mainstream automotive industry.

More recently he has been instrumental in developing sustainable solutions to offer the growing number of EV Start-ups, encompassing natural fibre composites and reclaimed carbon fibre in both thermoset and thermoplastic matrices. This has proven successful with several programmes now secured in the EV Sector and with Prodrive’s own Motorsport division on the new BRX Dakar programme.

Outside of Prodrive Matt is on his second term as a Board Member of Composites UK Trade Association, as well as having supporting roles on the Vehicular Composites Group of the Composites Leadership Forum.
