Mohan Kumar Pitchan

Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Mohan is a Post-doctoral research Associate at the University of Manchester, in the research field of Graphene Composites for Speciality Application. He is a Professional member in the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, a professional committee member of the Science Advisory Board and has had10 Scopus indexed journals and three conference proceedings published.​

Mohan holds three patents in the field of Rubber-metal bonding; High performance Thermoplastics Composites for Space vehicle structures and High Performance Adhesives. He was awarded a position as Research Scientist by Defence Research and Development organisation, Government of India, for developing a lightweight bulletproof jacket material for Indian Defence. He was also awarded a position as Senior Research fellow by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in developing High Performance Thermoplastic Structural Nanocomposites for Deep Space Applications.
