Paolo Parello

PM and R&D Composite Engineer

Paolo has been in YCOM since 2014 as PM and R&D Composite Engineer dealing with structural components, composite materials, and technology investigation.

In YCOM, he is also in charge of the quality investigation through Ultrasonic testing due to his previous experience as a globetrotter quality inspector in various environments from Formula 1 to America’s Cup, Volvo Oceans Race and Vendée Globe.

He obtained his master degree in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico of Turin with a one-year Erasmus experience at the University of Stuttgart.

His passion is digging into new materials and processes, which suits his position in the company perfectly.
