Romilly Close

Romilly is a project engineer at Haydale Composite Solutions, focusing on advanced composites and nanomaterials within both commercial and grant funded projects, including the development of non-metallic spacecraft propellant tanks.

Romilly’s technical background is in physical testing and finite element modelling of composites, and she has previously led research into thermoplastics for ballistic protection as well as rapid on-site repair of structures using self-adhesive carbon fibre tape.
